Terms of Sale

Last updated 6 October 2026

These are the terms that apply when you buy from this website. Please read them before you place an order.

Who you are buying from

You are buying from Mirah, which sells the Mirah Modest and Adorned By Mirah collections. You can reach us at support@adornedbymirah.com.

These terms apply to orders placed on this website by consumers, meaning people buying for personal use rather than for a business. Nothing in them limits your legal rights as a consumer.

Placing an order

When you place an order you are offering to buy the items in your bag. We then send you an order confirmation email. Our contract with you begins when we send that email. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item has sold out or a price on the site was wrong, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.

Please check your delivery address and email address before you pay. We can only deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom.

Our products

Our pieces are made in small batches and finished by hand, so there can be slight differences between one piece and another. We photograph our clothes carefully, but colours can look different on different screens. Measurements are given on each product page, and we recommend you check them against a garment you already own.

Some pieces are shown with the price POA (price on application). These cannot be bought through the website. Contact us and we will tell you the price and how to order.

Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you place your order, together with any delivery charge shown there. If you use a discount code it is applied at checkout. Codes can be combined where the checkout allows it, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn or limited by us.

You pay by card through Stripe when you place your order. We do not see or store your full card number. Your order is not confirmed until the payment has gone through.

Delivery

We deliver within the UK. Delivery charges and estimated delivery times are on our Delivery page and again at checkout. Estimated times are our best judgement, not a guarantee. If your order has not arrived when you expected it, contact us and we will look into it with the courier.

You become responsible for the goods once they are delivered to you. Until then they remain our responsibility.

Cancelling and returning an order

If you buy as a consumer, the law gives you certain rights when you buy online. These include a right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods, and a right to goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. These rights apply whatever we say elsewhere. Our current approach to returns is explained on our Returns page, which does not reduce those rights.

If something is wrong with your order

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, email support@adornedbymirah.com with your order number and, where you can, a photo. We will work out the right remedy with you, which may be a repair, a replacement or a refund.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failing to take reasonable care or to do what we agreed. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for losses to a business. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Your information

How we use your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, tell us at support@adornedbymirah.com and we will do our best to put it right.

General

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought in the courts there. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your home courts.
